The Beginning
In 1936, twin brothers Cleo and Leo Stater opened their first grocery store in Yucaipa, California, with a simple philosophy: treat every customer like family and provide the best quality products at fair prices.
Starting with just one small store during the Great Depression, the brothers’ commitment to exceptional customer service and community involvement quickly earned them loyal customers who appreciated their genuine care.
